Alhamdulillah,, we have done our mission, ESA Goes to School (EGS) "Road to Bengkalis" with the theme *Don't Worry be Happy*

EGS was held on Friday to Sunday, 4th - 6th of April 2014. We started our journey at 11 am on Friday. The participants of this event are 74 students of English faculty from year of 2011 and 2012.
We went to Bengkalis by two buses and a car. To go to Bengkalis we need to cross the sea, so after arrived in Sungai Pakning, we waited for the ferry that with it we could pass our buses and car to reach Bengkalis island. In Bengkalis, without wasting our time we went to our camp location near Selatbaru beach, Bantan. Here, of course we built our tend. Feeling tired after built the tend, we fell asleep then.
The next day, we went to school to accomplish our mission to visit SMAN 1 Bantan. Here we held English motivation seminar for the students in 12 grade, with the speaker, Fajar Sumirat, the head of ESA and Dr. Mahdum M.Pd, our lecturer. We also held Rank 1 competition for 100 participants from students grade 10 and 11. The events ran smoothly with a very nice respond and appreciation from all of students and the teachers.
After that in the afternoon, we spent our time playing at the beach. And for the night, we stood in circle and played some exciting game with campfire at the center of us. Sunday morning was the last time of us in Bengkalis. We bought some souvenir in the ferry harbour and then crossed the sea leaving Bengkalis. Our next mission was visiting Siak Palace.
In siak, we spent our time going around the palace, and took some pictures together. Hard to say, it was the end of EGS tour and journey. We went home to Pekanbaru. Finally we arrived around 7.30 pm in front of Arfaunnas mosque. We took our last picture and then went to home. It was a great journey we had. What had happened, we promise not to be worry and always happy.
Hope we will have another marvelous journey together.
